"I traveled to Russia during 2003-2004 and spent many months providing direct care in orphanages. I stayed at Orphanage #16 in St. Petersburg and nurtured fifteen newborns. Then, I traveled to some of the orphanages on the outskirts of St. Petersburg where children were literally tied to their beds. Some children could have had normal lives, however they will spend their lives in institutions due to low brain stimulation and never learning how to walk, talk, etc. I came back to America, but the guilt of not being with the children inspired me to provide leadership, education, and volunteer efforts through ANDORC.I founded ANDORC, Inc. in 2004. Since then, we have sent several college students and a few of them have even received college credits for volunteering through ANDORC's program.&" quot;
